I think Gys the owner should put some time in on his own field Our team has built the last base up there and Spike and I have put a ton of time and money in the field in the last two years

I totally agree with that....and until D mentioned it this weekend it always seemed that somebody else got the credit...nobody ever recognized that you guys ever did anything. Gotta be frustrating to you!!!!

I am more frustrated with the building materials and supplies. Gys called yesterday and asked if shrek could take his car trailer over to Philomath or somewhere and pick up a load of spools. Now I'm all for getting and using free materials, but I would like to see some real structures up there.....lumber, plywood anyone. Something that might last more than one season. Maybe even a few trenches. We've seen so many donated building materials just laying in piles around the field. Nothing gets done with them unless the players go up there and build something.

What happened to the organized field work days you used to do? I could possibly come down on a Sunday and help out. I have some battery powered tools (not what you are thinking, keep it clean folks). We could add a permanent base on the hill, and do some work on the town. What would Gys say about that?
Oh, I heard D talking to someone last weekend about getting some building supplies, so maybe something is in the works?

Well I agree with Shrek as well..While i was working for Pennington Seed I Used my own truck to bring well over 200 pallets as well as other things.So has Shrek and Fiona as well,Gys and 19Delta are trying to get things going now but i belive its only because now people are wanting to see more structurs on the feild as well as the city get completed.I also agree with fiona it would be nice to have a few trences in the woods or even in the open.I think most of all yhough we need to work on the two CP's as well as the CP in the way back that way we have alot more area t play in..As for helping out I love to but at the same time im not going to spend all my $$$ to build someone else's feild and not be albe to do what i want to it.

The problem with the organized work days was that the same few people were coming everytime and rarely anyone else. I don't know what kind of stuff my dad could get (he works for Wyerhauser) and they will be shutting down in about 6 months. I cant talk to him and see what he might be able to get. I would also be willing to come up and work (now that I'm not prego like last year for the work days) and do whatever I can. I'm not as much of a sissy as Spike likes to think (or my name implies).
